2.1 Step 1

Cleaning scalp

Before you shower, clean the adhesive residue off of your scalp. For best results, we recommend using Clean Skin Scalp Cleanser with a scalp cleansing brush.

First, dip the brush into the jar of cleaner. Then, apply the brush to your scalp and thoroughly scrub away the residue for at least one minute, covering the entire bonding area. With this in mind, don't panic if you see redness as it's normal for temporary irritation to occur when removing residue from your scalp.

After a good scouring, shower and rinse your head thoroughly. In order to avoid getting the cleanser in your eyes, keep your eyes closed tightly while rinsing out the Clean Skin Scalp Cleanser.

Once you're rid of all traces of the adhesive residue, wash your hair at least two times. Rinse well and towel blot dry. Now you're ready to prep your scalp for attachment.

2.2 Step 2

Preparing your scalp

IMPORTANTPlease, inspect your hair system carefully and ensure it is the correct size and shape before shaving your head.

Using your magnifying glass, locate your natural front hairline. With a comb, press down to make an indentation in your skin. This will temporarily mark the front edge of your hairline.

Next, peel the backing off the tape on your Scalp Shaving Template and spray a few pumps of Adjust A-Bond on the tape.

Using your front center mark as a guide, carefully position the Scalp Shaving Template on your head. Make sure the front edge is on the mark and the template is even from side-to-side.

Carefully trace the template around the edge on the sides and back with your washable marker and then remove the template.

Given that the next step is to remove any hair and stubble inside the line, a razor or trimmer will work fine to complete this step. Once shaved, brush away the hair clippings.

Provided that these steps are complete, dampen a paper towel to wipe away the line you made with the washable marker. Whenever your head is clean, spray a few pumps of Adjust A-Bond on a paper towel and wipe your head.

Lastly, apply a scalp protector to get the best bond possible.
